There are so many policies that are developed for the improvement of the living conditions of the people of the city. And these regulations are applied to different sectors of the society. The HIPAA is one of them and this policy was improvised so that the consumers can enjoy some privacy and are assured that there is enough security that are being provided to protect the individual from identifiable health information, electronic data and their confidentiality. There is another HITECH Act that has been made a regular with the American Recovery and the Reinvestment Act formed in the year 2009, in order to provide more protection to the privacy of the citizens.
